Perception of a Curious Mind

Watercolour and ink on paper

framed paint on wall

This piece was selected for the Illusion exhibition at the Menier Gallery in London, exploring the theme of perception.

We often look without truly seeing. At first glance, we notice the surface, but when we pay closer attention, hidden details and shadows emerge.

Are we truly paying attention? What do you see when you look deeper? Not everything is as it seems.

In this painting, I worked with layers of perception. You might stop at your first impression, but if you look beyond the surface, you'll find hidden figures that were there all along, waiting to be noticed.
